You'll hear their excited barks before you can see them, but soon you'll be greeted by the sight of 8 energetic huskies, eagerly waiting to be let loose in the snow. After a brief introduction and safety talk from your guide, climb into the Musher position and take charge of your team. The dogs power ahead, and you're whisked through a beautiful, snow-covered forest.
Enjoy a tranquil trek through the idyllic, and otherwise unreachable, forest areas that surround Sorbyn Lodge. Your knowledgeable local guide will share stories about the flora and fauna of the region, which include reindeer, moose, foxes and hares. Keep an eye out for their tracks in the snow, you may even get the opportunity to catch a glimpse of these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
