Upon arrival at Vágar Airport, you will already find yourself surrounded by impressive nature. Your adventure begins with a visit to the saga-filled island of Sandoy and the historic village of Kirkjubøur. Travelling through the islands' newest subsea tunnel, you will drive to Sandoy, passing through picturesque villages while hearing fascinating saga stories along the way. Before heading back to Tórshavn, you will stop in Kirkjubøur to explore the nearly 900-year-old Roykstovan and Ólav's Church, built in AD 1111 and named after King Olav the Holy. This ancient church, the oldest in the Faroe Islands, is still in use today.

Today, you will explore the heart of the Faroe Islands, visiting the villages of Saksun, Tjørnuvík, and Gjógv. In Saksun, you will admire the seawater lagoon and the charming old church. Tjørnuvík is famous for its mystical black sandy beach, surrounded by towering mountains, with a stunning view of Risin & Kellingin, also known as the Giant and the Hag. According to legend, they attempted to drag the Faroe Islands to Iceland. You will also hike Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, but don't worry—the hike begins from the mountain road, giving you a 550-metre head start. After the hike, you will visit the picturesque village of Gjógv, named after its impressive gorge. Here, you will enjoy lunch and take time to stroll through the village, soaking in its beauty. On this day, you will also witness the tallest waterfall in the Faroe Islands, Fossá.

Your day begins with either a hotel pickup or meeting at the ferry port in Sørvágur. Today, you will experience the breathtaking islet of Tindhólmur, where puffins breed—just like on the island of Mykines. If you're lucky, you'll get a chance to see the puffins up close and capture some stunning photos. For the more adventurous, you will also have the opportunity to swim in a lake amidst some of the most incredible scenery the Faroe Islands have to offer.

On this day, you will explore the Northern Islands. Your journey will take you to the charming island of Borðoy, where you will visit Klaksvík, known as the heart of the fishing industry. Next, you will head to the remote village of Kunoy, located on the island of the same name, before proceeding to the picturesque village of Viðareiði, the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands. On your way back to Tórshavn, you will drive through the impressive subsea tunnel with a roundabout.
